Welcome to my blog, Fit 4 Kids! My name is Kayla Heines and I am a senior Nursing major at Bellarmine University. The purpose of my blog is to educate parents and school aged children on the benefits of physical activity. Healthy lifestyle behaviors begin in early childhood and have a direct impact on the body, mind and spirit. A well balanced nutrition status and physical fitness are essential to every child’s growth and development. With this blog, I hope to offer several ideas for parents and their children to engage in healthy and active lifestyles.
