Looking for a new activity that your kids will love?! Sky Zone is the place for you! They are home to the world’s first indoor trampoline park. They combine health, fitness, and fun for all ages. Kids will love the thrill they get from flying high on the wall-wall trampoline courts. Play is a perfect way to engage children in exercise while having fun. At Sky Zone, kids will put their muscles and mind to use through competitive and fun attractions such as Sky Slam, Ultimate Dodgeball, Sky Hoops, Foam Zone, and more! Climb to Fitness!


Take your kids somewhere new and check out Climb NuLu! It’s a perfect place for children to engage in physical activity in a fun and unique way. They offer clubs and teams for children to learn about climbing, engage in games and activities while having fun in a safe environment. Everyone can climb Monday- Friday 11am-10pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-9pm. For kids, a day pass is only 10 dollars and children 3 and under are free. Visit the Kentucky Science Center


The Kentucky Science Center is a perfect place to explore on a rainy or cold day. It is great for the whole family and there is something to interest all age groups. This unique museum is an easy way to combine both learning and physical activity. Children can roam about the 3 stories in this hands on science museum. For the kids, there are 4 interactive exhibits that engage the body, mind and imagination. They include: Science in Play, The World Around Us, The World Within Us and World We Create. Each exhibit offers a new and exciting experience that both kids and adults are sure to love. Children are able to build their own roller coaster and improve their gross motor skills on the 14 foot tall Happy Climber. Your kids will have so much fun exploring the variety of exhibits and activities that it won’t seem like learning or exercise.

The Kentucky Science Center is located at 727 West Main Street Louisville, KY 40202. Parking directly behind the building is 6 dollars daily. It is open Sunday-Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday-Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission for the Exhibits and Movie is 20.00 for adults and 15.00 for children or you can become a member for just 79 dollars a year.

Take a hike through Cherokee Park


Get up and get moving! It is time to explore the great outdoors that Louisville has to offer. Cherokee Park is located in the heart of the Highlands. The park is a great place to spend a day with your family. Cherokee offers a 2.4 mile Scenic Loop with a recreation lane that is perfect for walking, jogging or bike riding. There are several hiking trails available for those who would like to get a bit closer to nature. There is nothing better than getting some fresh air and Vitamin D while admiring beautiful wildlife and scenery. Other park amenities include a playground, picnic areas, ballfields, basketball, tennis courts and plenty of green space.
